Responsibilities

• Understanding UI, cross-browser compatibility, web functionality, and modern web standards.
• Develop, design, and maintain company websites, web applications, and eCommerce platforms.
• Manage and update all company and subsidiary websites, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and brand consistency.
• Build responsive and user-friendly web pages optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Create solutions for identified technical issues, bugs, and system improvements.
• Execute web development tasks using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, and related programming languages and frameworks.
• Develop and validate testing routines to ensure the quality and performance of internal and external website interfaces.
• Evaluate and review written code to ensure it meets industry standards, security requirements, and device compatibility.
• Collaborate with team members to determine website layout, functionality, content structure, and overall design direction.
• Integrate graphics, videos, audio, and multimedia content into websites and online platforms.
• Monitor website traffic, analytics, and customer behavior, making adjustments to improve engagement and conversion rates.
• Manage eCommerce operations including product uploads, inventory updates, pricing, promotions, and online campaigns.
• Troubleshoot website issues including checkout systems, payment gateways, plugins, and third-party integrations.
• Complete weekly and monthly website maintenance, updates, reporting, and optimization tasks.
• Stay current with emerging web technologies, eCommerce trends, SEO practices, and digital marketing strategies to continuously improve online performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in web development, Shopify management, and eCommerce operations.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify including theme customization, app integrations, product management, and store maintenance.
• Experience managing Shopify backend operations such as inventory updates, product uploads, collections, discounts, and order management.
• Understanding of Shopify apps, payment gateways, shipping integrations, and checkout optimization.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards.
• Experience with APIs, third-party integrations, and CMS platforms.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and eCommerce conversion optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot website issues, bugs, broken links, and performance-related problems.
• Experience integrating graphics, multimedia, and marketing content into websites and online stores.
• Strong understanding of website security, backups, and data protection practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing and design teams.
