Main duties:

• We create a safe, organized, and productive work environment by managing work schedules, conducting performance evaluations, and improving workflow.

• We stay current with the latest regulations and best practices to ensure safe and accurate patient care.

• Provides clinical services including drug review, medication adjustment, and prescription for specific conditions.

• We collect and review patient information, medication information, and disease information to ensure appropriate treatment.

• Process and review prescriptions and assist pharmacy assistants as needed.

• Identify actual and potential medication issues and collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary.

• Provides patient counseling and responds to inquiries from patients and the healthcare team.

• We recommend appropriate over-the-counter (OTC) medications, vitamins, and supplements.

• Administer vaccines and other medications in accordance with BC Pharmacist Regulations.

Qualifications:

• Korean language proficiency is required (for effective communication with patients)

• Pharmacist who is registered with the BC Pharmacists Association and maintains good standing

• Qualified to administer injections in B.C.

• Holds current OAT (medication maintenance therapy) training certificate from the BC Pharmacists Association

• Experience with Kroll programs, Microsoft Word, and Excel

• High level of professionalism and patient-centered dedication

• Ability to perform work autonomously and independently, and ability to manage deadlines efficiently
