한국 영화·드라마가 세계적 인기를 얻으면서(gain global popularity) 외국 시청자들에겐 뜻하지 않은 고민이 생겼다. 자국어로 재녹음 더빙된(be dubbed with their own language) 것을 볼 것인지, 원래 언어인 한국어를 자막으로 볼(watch the original language with subtitles) 것인지 선택해야 한다. 똑같은 내용이지만, 감흥에 차이가 나기 때문이다.
