용접·제작 기술자 (Fabricator / Welder)

주요 업무

• 다양한 철강 가공 및 일반 제작용 공구와 장비의 운용 및 유지관리
• 목재, 금속, 복합재 등 다양한 자재의 측정, 표시 및 절단
• 작업 지시에 따라 조립 절차 및 공정을 수행하고, 진행 상황·문제점·질문 사항을 정기적으로 공유
• 제작 제품에 다른 부품이나 제품을 결합하는 작업 수행 (장착, 정렬, 접근성 확보, 보강 등)
• 목재, 금속, FRP, 플라스틱 및 복합재 등의 절단 및 연마
• 장시간 서 있기, 걷기, 쪼그리기, 허리 굽히기, 무릎 꿇기, 앉았다 일어나기 등의 육체적 작업 수행
• 손, 발, 팔, 다리, 등, 몸통 등을 사용하는 전신 작업 및 밀기·당기기·들기 작업
• 장비 또는 공구의 이상 발생 시 즉시 보고
• 롤러, 드릴 프레스, 화염 절단기, 절곡기, 전단기 등 금속 가공 장비의 설치 및 세팅
• 완성된 제품의 연마 및 마감 작업
• 완성 제품의 품질 검사
• 도면, 설계도 및 치수 등을 해석하여 작업 레이아웃 계획
• 구리 배관, 빔, 파이프라인 등 크고 작은 금속 부품의 용접
• 산업용 용접을 위한 전문 장비 운용
• 용접 장비 및 공구의 정기적인 청소, 유지보수 및 수리
• 용접면, 구조물 및 부품을 점검하여 결함이나 오류 확인
• 내열 장갑, 보호 마스크, 안전화 등 개인보호장비(PPE)를 착용하고 안전 규정 준수
• 장비의 적절한 사용 및 온도를 모니터링하고 정확한 가스 비율 조정
• 평면, 수직 및 오버헤드 자세에서 용접 작업 수행
• 안전하고 정확한 조립을 위해 금속 및 작업 표면 준비
• 작업 중 발생하는 문제를 진단하고 필요에 따라 문제 해결
• 관리자 또는 현장 감독자와 소통하고 문제점을 보고하며 업무 개선을 위한 의견 제시

자격요건 및 우대사항

• 플럭스 코어(Flux Core), 메탈 코어(Metal Core), 솔리드 와이어(Hard Wire)를 사용한 다양한 자세의 용접 경험
• 작업 도면 및 제작 도면을 읽고 이해할 수 있는 능력
• 업무량 및 고객 요구에 따라 초과근무 가능
• 필요에 따라 기타 업무 수행
• 용접/금속 제작 관련 디플로마 또는 이에 준하는 경력
• 스테인리스 스틸 제작 경력 1~2년 우대
• CWB 용접 자격증 보유자 우대

신체적 요구사항

• 정기적으로 25~50파운드(약 11~23kg)의 물건을 들어 올리거나 이동할 수 있어야 함
• 필요 시 도움을 받아 50파운드(약 23kg) 이상의 물건을 들어 올리거나 이동할 수 있어야 함
• 무릎 꿇기, 허리 굽히기, 쪼그려 앉기, 밀기, 당기기 및 허리 위·아래로 손을 뻗는 동작이 가능해야 함

근무조건

• 주 40시간
• 월요일~금요일
• 오전 7:00 ~ 오후 3:00

급여

$25-$30 per hour

Fabricator (Welder)

Inno Food Inc. is a global food production facility specializing in premium, high-end snacks. We are currently seeking a Fabricator (Welder) to support the production, assembly, and finishing of custom metal products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and workmanship.

To succeed in this role a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to workplace safety are essential. The ideal candidate is dependable, skilled in various welding techniques, and capable of working independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

• Operate and maintain various steel working and general fabrication tools and equipment.
• Measure, mark and cut various materials including wood, metal, and composites.
• Receive directions and execute assembly procedures and processes while communicating status, issues, and questions regularly.
• Integration of other products into fabricated items including mounting, alignment, accessibility, and reinforcement.
• Cut and grind various materials including wood, metals, FRP, plastics and composites.
• Daily manual labor and physical demands include, but not limited to: standing, walking, crouching, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and bending for extensive lengths of time. It also requires full-body movements including, but not limited to, the use of hands, feet, arms, legs, back, and torso; along with the ability to push, pull and lift.
• Report malfunctions of equipment or tools immediately.
• Setting up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, and shears.
• Grinding and finishing completed products
• Performing quality checks on completed products
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
• Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.
• Use specialized machinery for industrial welding
• Maintain, regularly clean and repair all welding equipment and tools.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
• Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature and determining correct gas ratios
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage.
• Diagnosing issues and troubleshooting as required.
• Liaising with the line manager or supervisor, reporting any issues, and making suggestions for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in welding in all positions with flux core, metal core and hard wire.
• Experience in reading and understanding working drawings.
• Possibility of overtime as required by workload and customer requirements
• Perform other duties as needed
• Welder / Fabricator Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Preferably 1 – 2 years stainless steel fabricating experience.
• Welder’s certification CWB preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 to 50 lbs.
• Occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach above and below waist.

Schedule:

• 40 hrs / Week
• Monday - Friday
• 7:00am - 3:00pm
