Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Project Manager – Business Incubation to support business incubation and growth. This role involves preparing pitch decks and business plans, managing large volumes of information, and overseeing related correspondence. A background in Business, Entrepreneurship, or Finance — ideally within a corporate or startup environment—is highly valued.

As a Project Manager – Business Incubation, you will assist in guiding founders through their startup journey in Canada. Your responsibilities will include supporting ventures from incorporation to early scaling by conducting market research, drafting business plans, creating pitch decks, supporting validation exercises, and connecting founders with Canadian investment partners. Your primary objective is to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality documentation that enhances the success rate of startups.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct market research to support business planning
• Support in drafting business plans and pitch decks
• Assist in developing and refining financial models
• Collect, organize, and analyze data related to ventures
• Assist with administrative tasks which can include scheduling strategic planning sessions with founders, preparing business updates, and maintaining detailed and up-to-date business progress reports
• Deliver accurate and timely reporting to senior leadership
• Identify areas for operational efficiency and productivity improvements
• Contribute to the development of the Chung & Associates network

Qualifications

• A post-secondary degree, preferably in Business, Finance, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Proficiency in Korean considered an asset
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Self-motivated and skilled in problem-solving
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Interest in supporting early-stage ventures
• Experience in entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, or working in a startup environment

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Relocation Requirement:

• Applicants must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Vancouver, BC prior to starting the role.
