Hello, my name is Ricky. I am a Canadian-born Korean and speak English as my native language. I have an educational background in financial analysis from the Canadian Securities Institute as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst Program. I have worked as a financial advisor for over 2 years and have been helping ESL and English language arts students for over 8 years in both a classroom and 1-on-1 settings.

I find the most effective learning environment is one that is interesting as well as educational. Therefore, I always make an effort to engage the student with a variety of activities and relevant topics. By doing so, the student will be more motivated to continue learning and improving his/her English skills.
