Veterinary Office & Animal Care Certificate Program (VOAC)

이번에 시작하는 새 프로그램은 Veterinary Office & Animal Care Certificate Program (VOAC) 은 8명의 학생만을 받으며 동물들을 다루는 여러 동물 병원이나 유기 동물 기관 등에서 도와주는 직업에 관하여 교육시킬 예정입니다.

교육 일정: 2013년 3월 11일 - 8월 27일; 월요일 - 금요일, 오전 8:30 - 오후 2:00
    6개월간 (24주) 10 과정 이수, 실습도 풀타임으로 진행 됩니다.
        
교육 장소: Douglas College - 뉴 웨스트민스터 캠퍼스

신청 자격 및 첨부 서류
1. 최소 18세 이상 (나이 증명 서류 제출 요)
2. BC 주 고등학교 성적 증명 혹은 그에 준하는 증명
    a. C 이상의 11학년 영어 성적
    b. C 이상의 11학년 생물 성적
3. 1분에 20자 이상의 타자 실력
4. 최근 이력서
5. 기본적인 컴퓨터 실력
6. Information Session 참석

Veterinary Office & Animal Care Certificate Program (VOAC)
This program prepares 8 students to develop the career ready skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to perform the multifaceted duties of veterinary assistants in front office settings an in the examination room, treatment area, surgery or kennel. At the end of the program, the successful student should be able to: “Perform and understand the duties of a veterinary team member in a small animal clinic, hospital or related field (animal shelter, rescue organization)”.
 
Program Dates: March 11 – August 27, 2013

Course location: Douglas College – New Westminster

Instruction
10 courses, six months (24 weeks)
Hours: 8:30 am –2:00 pm
Monday-Friday
Practicum is full-time

Applicants must:
1. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age (proof of age)
2. Submit official transcript of BC secondary school graduation, or equivalent
    a. English 11 with a grade of C or better
    b. Biology 11 with a grade of C or better
3. Minimum of 20 words per minute
4. Current Resume
5. Possess basic computer skills: use email, open/close files and create a document
6. Attend an Information Session (pre-register only)
