Looking for Work?
The Job Options program helps unemployed persons gain skills, confidence and experience to find employment through:
 5 weeks of daily employment and life skills training in a group setting
 Basic short-term training certificate courses (WorldHost, First Aid, Foodsafe)
 Supports such as transportation, workwear and tools
 Weekly training allowance for first 5 weeks
 Job search support for the second 5 weeks

You are eligible if you are . . .
 A resident of Surrey or surrounding area
 Unemployed job seeker - not working and not self-employed
 Legally eligible to work in Canada
 Age 18 or older
 Not eligible for EI in the last 3 years
 Not a full-time student
 Able to commit to 10 weeks of job search & training
 Motivated to find employment
 In need of assistance to find employment
