Web Design and Development Program
The Langara College Employment Skills Access Program offers a NEW certificate program specifically designed for those individual interested in:
§ Web design and development
§ Entering into the web design field
§ Building and maintaining their own websites
§ Increasing their expertise in the area of web design
Who can apply?
§ Non-EI Recipients (have not collected regular or medical EI for three years)
§ Unemployed or minimally employed in low-skilled jobs
§ Can attend full-time classes (Monday to Friday, 1:30pm-8:00pm)
§ Interested in web design and development
This program will offer:
§ MS Word § MS Excel § MS Access § Photoshop
§ HTML § Drupal § JQuery § Job Search § Supervised lab time
§ Total Duration: 9 weeks, full-time study (Monday-Friday, 1:30pm-8:00pm);
Start date: October 2013 (Broadway Centre). An ELSA level of 6 is required.
