8월 23일 EE (70번째) 선발 : 커트라인 434점, 선발인원 3,035명

지난 8월 23일에 총 3,035명이 Express Entry Category에 선발되었는데, 커트라인은 434점이었습니다. 즉, 현재 Express Entry Pool에 등록한 434점 이상 신청자는 선발되어 다음 단계로 진행할 수 있게 됩니다.

8월 들어 세번째로 발표된 선발이었는데, 커트라인이 점차 낮아지는 추세를 보이고 있습니다.

올해들어 현재까지 6만명 이상이 선발되었는데, 이는 지난 2016년의 총 선발 인원보다도 많은 수치여서, 올해 선발이 언제 감소할 지 예측하기 힘듭니다.

그렇다 하더라도, 다음 선발을 위하여 추이를 지켜보며 준비하여야 하겠습니다.

The Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to section 10.3 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, gives the annexed Ministerial Instructions Respecting Invitations to Apply for Permanent Residence under the Express Entry System (August 23, 2017).

MINISTERIAL INSTRUCTIONS RESPECTING INVITATIONS TO APPLY FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE UNDER THE EXPRESS ENTRY SYSTEM (AUGUST 23, 2017)

Determination — number of invitations

1. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 10.2(1)(b) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the number of invitations that may be issued during the period beginning on August 23, 2017, and ending on August 24, 2017, is 3,035.

Required rank

(2) Foreign nationals who, on August 23, 2017, at 12:14:16 UTC, have been assigned a total of 434 points or more under the Comprehensive Ranking System that is set out in the Ministerial Instructions Respecting the Express Entry System, as published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on December 1, 2014, and as amended from time to time, occupy the rank required to be invited to make an application for permanent residence.
