Hello, my name is Ricky. I am a Canadian born Korean, and speak English as my native language. I have an educational background in financial management from the Canadian Securities Institute as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst program. I have been helping ESL students in the TOEFL and IELTS programs for over 7 years in both a classroom and 1-on-1 settings.

I have found success in coaching and instructing students in the TOEFL and IELTS exams by targeting the required skills for each section (reading, listening, speaking, and writing) in a systematic way, while also encouraging the advancement of the student’s overall English skills. I have a thorough understanding of the TOEFL/ IELTS exams and the scoring criteria, and have helped many students achieve their desired exam scores.
