King George International College is looking to fill the full-time position of Korean Student Advisor/Admissions for our Vancouver downtown campus for student advisling, agents support and administrative duties. The successful candidate must be fluent in both English and Korean.
Position
The successful candidate provides ongoing support and guidance for enrolled students and local agencies, processes program transfers, advises students, and assists the admissions and marketing team with a wide area of daily administrative tasks.
Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for providing services in the areas of admissions, enrollment, academic advising, accommodation related issues, new student orientation and any school related services to all students on several campuses downtown.
• Communicates to marketing managers and management.
• Maintains all relevant record keeping and tracking
• Assists students in planning and participating in their academic programs
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
• Fluent in English and Korean
• Entry level position, with some knowledge of the ESL industry an asset
• Very good customer service skills, friendly, and very patient
• Ability to work as part of a team, and work under pressure
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills required to interact with a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
