POSITION:
Seniors Planning Table Coordinator – Temporary Part-Time

CURRENT LOCATION: United Way Seniors Planning Table - White Rock, BC

CURRENT HOURS: 14 hours per week



POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will pro-actively reach out to engage seniors and seniors-serving
agencies to participate in a community planning table. Community mobilization
and collaboration will build upon existing neighbourhood strengths and collaborative
processes. Community members will be supported to identify both assets and
needs; develop and recommend solutions; liaise with other planning tables;
formulate plans; and support the capacity of non-profit agencies and community
services to respond positively to the needs of seniors.



QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a self-starter

• Experienced facilitator

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Must have a strong community and seniors’ connection on the Semiahmoo
Peninsula



START DATE: As soon as possible

END DATE: June 30, 2014

SALARY: $25.00 per hour

CLOSING DATE: June 7, 2013
